Accessibility Needs
We try to ensure the accessibility of our events, but we recognize that we have not covered everything. We welcome feedback and suggestions as we learn and improve.
The First Unitarian Universalist Church (Red Oak’s home) is accessible via COTA bus lines #2, #102 and #33, COTA Mainstream service, as well as from the Olentangy Bike Trail.
Parking, the main church entrance and most of the outside spaces are wheelchair accessible. There are no stairs/steps to access the building. There is one sidewalk cut near the main entrance. The outside surface areas are primarily mulch & grass.
Seating options in the play area consist of natural logs and there are two benches with arms in the play area. Just outside the play area are several plastic picnic tables under "carport" style tents. Other outside spaces have benches and cafe-style seating.
There are two restrooms in the building that will be open for this event. Both restrooms have one accessible stall and while they are gendered, folks are welcome to use the bathroom that best fits their gender identity. There is one single stall bathroom available as well. Let us know if you need to know its location. (It's easier to explain in person.)
